About Jazzelry!

This site will feature handcrafted jewelry, sterling silver jewelry, and fashion/costume jewelry. Most of the handcrafted items are designed and made by me. A few of my designer friends contribute from time to time.

I used to design only sterling silver or gold/gold-filled pieces, but sometimes you just want a fun piece for a season or two, or even just a night. With the price of sterling and gold rising all of the time, jewelry needs to be affordable as well as stylish! Most of my costume jewelry items can be transformed into lifetime pieces if you wish, just ask, and I'll redo them in sterling or gold. On their own, costume pieces will last for quite awhile, their quality will be as good or better than department store items.

I've been designing jewelry for several years now, and it is a passion of mine. I'm a jewelry addict through and through, and never have enough. Once I learned how to make it, I started critiquing jewelry in stores..."this clasp isn't strong enough, this one needs a safety chain, this one needs an extender, oh...if they'd just used more (or less) crystals!" I do buy some wholesale pieces, and then modify them to fit my standards. Everything is guaranteed, if it breaks, I'll fix it. I actually fix a lot of jewelry, it doesn't need to be mine. If you have a piece you just love that needs updating, or a clasp fixed, or anything, I can help. I love restoring old jewelry. Contact me for details.
